About the Job
Position: Student Seasonal Farm & Yard Assistant.
Location: Hamilton, Ontario.
Hourly Rate: $19 per hour.
Hours: 40 hours per week.
Employment Duration: Late April to End of August (approximately 18 weeks).
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily greenhouse operations and yard maintenance tasks, including planting, weeding, watering, and harvesting (if applicable).
Support property landscape projects such as trimming, mowing, and general upkeep.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of seasonal projects.
Perform repetitive physical tasks efficiently and safely, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Work with a team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 50lbs. and perform physical, repetitive tasks.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Previous landscaping, farming, or related outdoor work experience is an asset but not required.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
