Production Supervisor – Grounds Maintenance & Snow

You are self-motivated, have good people and organizational skills, professional attitude, and appearance. You are experienced and knowledgeable in all facets of Grounds Maintenance and Snow. The Production Supervisor will be required to provide assistance to the Grounds Maintenance & Snow Division Manager

Requirements

● Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training in Horticulture or Landscape Technology.

● Minimum 5 years of experience as a Grounds Maintenance Crew Leader or Production Supervisor

● 5+ Years snow equipment operation and supervision.

● Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

● Love winter work

Your duties will include:

● Formulate action plans to logically, efficiently and effectively complete daily work schedules within specified deadlines.

● Hands-on training, mentoring and coaching of the crews

● Ensure professional communication and interaction with current and prospective clients, as well as all crew members.

● Daily quality checks of sites completed, and sites scheduled for the following day.

● Weekly inventory checks to ensure an optimal level is maintained for upcoming projects.

● Assist with staff interviews alongside the Division Manager or HR, as per the hiring process.

● Use of Microsoft Office Suite and the LMN system.

● Proficiency with learning new phone-based applications.

● Other duties as assigned by management.

This is a full-time position paying a salary of $60,000 to $70,000 per year with benefits. Pay rate depends on experience and qualifications.
