Oakridge Landscape Contractors is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to help drive our people-first culture and support our growing team.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead full-cycle recruitment, from crafting job postings to onboarding new team members.

Deliver exceptional employee experiences, including orientation, training programs, and engagement initiatives.

Support employees and managers with coaching, performance management, and HR guidance.

Manage employee files, benefits, wage agreements, and HR documentation.

Champion employee engagement by coordinating team events, recognition programs, and internal communications.

Oversee health and safety onboarding, tailgate topics, PPE distribution, and Joint Health & Safety Committee participation.

Assist with HR programs, newsletters, retention strategies, and continuous improvement projects.

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of HR Generalist experience (construction or landscaping experience is a bonus)

Post-secondary education in Human Resources (CHRP designation is an asset).

Strong understanding of HR practices, employment law, and compliance.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

A proactive, people-first mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
