Winter Crew Leader

Since 1994 Jeff's Outdoor has been a multi-award winning Landscape Maintenance and Snow Removal Contractor serving Haldimand county and the greater Hamilton area around us. We are thankful to be seeking specifically skilled individuals for our team! Come see why our small town feel has kept our 30+ employees busy for over 25 years! We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Winter teams to complete snow removal services and salt/brine applications. All individuals are part of a designated crew, completing specific routes working alongside experienced individuals. Transition to full-time employment is available in the Spring. Responsibilities: Ability to maintain records and make accurate reports Supervise a crew of 2-3 employees (Crew Leader) Adhere to schedules for completion of sites Operate/supervise the safe operation a variety of equipment (Snow plow, snow blowers, skid steers, etc.) Maintain assigned equipment and reports for required repairs Support Jeff's Outdoor safety and performance culture Requirements: Crew leaders must be well versed in snow clearing operations (plow, skid steer, or tractor) A strong work ethic, punctuality, reliability, a team-player attitude and a safety-oriented mindset are characteristics of the successful candidate Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions with potential long hours (no shifts longer than 14 hours) Previous experiencing clearing snow/salting is a must Candidates must be available to be readily available throughout the winter season (November-April) Landscape Maintenance or Landscape Construction experience an asset for Full-Time employment in the Spring but not necessary as we are always willing to train reliable people with the right attitudes If you think you would enjoy a career at a professional, fun loving, and growing company - please reply with your resume..
