Job Description
The MPS team is seeking a Sales & Account Manager with experience in service-based sales, account management, and commercial grounds maintenance.
This role has two primary purposes:
1)Actively pursue the acquisition of new clients while also increasing the volume of services we provide to existing clients.
2)Serve as an account manager, ensuring customers receive timely, high-quality services and quick resolution to complaints and concerns.
To be successful in this role, you must have proven B2B sales experience in a related industry. Industry knowledge, including horticulture and commercial snow removal, is considered a strong asset. This position also requires someone who is passionate about building customer relationships, detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and enjoys the challenge of commercial sales.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, actively contributing to company sales goals and supporting colleagues across departments to ensure exceptional service delivery and continuous improvement.

Major Responsibilities:
- Serve as “first contact” for potential new customers in Grounds Maintenance and Snow divisions
- Attend regular meetings with multi-residential property managers, HOAs and board members
- Collaborate with Snow and Grounds divisions to ensure customer expectations are achieved
- Respond to customer enquiries, concerns and complaints, with an eye to providing resolution and win-win solutions
- Develop strong customer relationships through proactive communication and contact
- Respond to appropriate RFP’s, RFQ’s Bids and quote requests
- Create, send, and track customer contract renewals, to improve retention
- Incident investigation and documentation
- Assist in developing pricing strategies
- Develop, and assist in all appropriate sales and marketing campaigns
- Any additional MPS related tasks as they may arise
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in sales in a related industry
- Advanced landscape knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong computer skills including MS Office and Infusionsoft
- G License
- Strong math and English skills (both oral and written)
- Strong leadership skills
- Completion of Bachelor of Commerce/Business Administration degree
