Job Description
The landscape construction lead hand will perform tasks involving heavy landscape construction, site demolitions and excavation. The job will include the operation of power tools, excavators, skid steers and articulated loaders, handling and installing aggregate, precast paving, and natural stone. Typically, the lead hand is also the crew truck driver to and from the yard.

Education:
High School Diploma,
Skills & Professional Training
Driver's License - G, Clean Driving Record
3 years or more landscape construction experience
Excavator, skid steer, articulated loader operation experience
Attention to Detail: The job requires being attentive to detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
Dependability: must be reliable, responsible, and dependable in fulfilling obligations.
Stress Tolerance: This job requires maintaining composure and dealing calmly and effectively with high-stress situations.
Communication: The job requires daily reports using a smart phone and clear communication skills for articulating information to the crew leader and operations manager.
Compensation
$28 to $33/hour
Overtime pay. Advancement into Crew Leader position. Extended Health and Dental care benefits as well as Group RRSP/DPSP program after one year of employment.
