Position: Crew Leader (Winter 2026 seasonal position) Job category: Snow Removal Location: Toronto, Ottawa Hourly rate: $25-$30 What a typical day looks like : • Lead and manage a small crew (2–3 employees) on client sites • Operate snow removal equipment (skid steers, loaders, snow blowers, plow trucks, salt spreaders) • Perform manual snow removal (shoveling, plowing, de-icing of walkways, parking lots, and entrances) • Assign tasks and ensure safe, efficient crew performance • Monitor weather conditions and communicate updates to management • Inspect and ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and tools • Maintain records (hours, materials used, site conditions) • Act as the main point of contact for clients or site managers during operations • Perform other related duties as required You’re a great fit if you: • Have experience in snow removal or landscaping (leadership experience preferred) • Can safely operate snow removal equipment • Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills • Are physically able to perform manual snow removal tasks • Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Are comfortable working in extreme weather conditions (cold, wind, wet, snow) • Are available to work irregular hours (nights, weekends, holidays) during snow events • Understand safe snow and ice management practices Now, what's in it for you? • Competitive wages • Paid overtime (1.5x) • Opportunity for year-round employment (snow removal) • Positive, team-oriented work environment • Training and skill development • Fun staff events throughout the year • Fast growth and advancement opportunities within the company • High-quality uniforms provided
