Position: Estimator/ Project Lead (Permanent position) Job category: Landscaping and Snow Removal Location: Ottawa Salary: To be discussed What a typical day looks like: • Prepare accurate estimates for landscape maintenance, enhancements, and small projects • Prepare bids for snow & ice management services • Assess labor, materials, equipment, and production rates • Review site plans, drawings, specifications, and RFP/RFQ requirements • Prepare compliant bids for public and institutional contracts • Analyze historical job costs to improve pricing and productivity Project planning and Operational support • Collaborate with Branch Manager and Account Managers/Supervisors on awarded work • Conduct site verification visits (quantities, access, risks, logistics) • Provide maps, measurements, material lists, and site instructions to operations • Document scopes clearly in Aspire for scheduling and service verification • Support pre-storm planning and assist Supervisors during snow events • Track budgets, productivity, and key performance indicators You’re a great fit if you: • Have 3–5 years of experience in estimating, project management, or operations (landscaping or snow services) • Have experience with public sector tendering (asset) • Can read and interpret plans, drawings, and contract documents • Are analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized • Are proficient with Aspire, LMN, or similar systems • Communicate effectively and collaborate across departments • Hold a valid driver’s license and can travel to job sites Now, what's in it for you? • Group insurance including wellness initiatives and Group RRSP • Positive, team-oriented work environment • Training and skill development • Fun staff events throughout the year • Fast growth and advancement opportunities within the company Apply today!
