Position: Gardener At The Tiny Gardener Inc. our success depends on a strong and knowledgeable team. Our wonderful clients work with us because of our reputation as being hard working nature nerds! The Tiny Gardener Inc. is a niche company operating in that we only deal with gardens; renovating exiting beds, installing new ones, seasonal container gardens and garden maintenance. We strive to boost pollinator populations and wildlife diversity in every garden we work on. We are looking for 3 motivated and hard working individuals to join our team. Job Duties include: • Plant care including; identification, deadheading, pruning, planting, dividing, fertilizing, pest management, watering, etc. • weeding  • digging • applying mulch/soil • tool maintenance • sod removal • edging • Customer service etc.    The perfect candidate is someone who: • is self-motivated  • team oriented • has some knowledge about plants.  • likes working outdoors • has a valid driver’s license • can lift and carry 20 pounds or more • takes pride in a hard day’s work • wants to contribute to protecting our environment • Loves nature and is passionate about plants! Wages range between $18.00 - $23.00 per hour.  A typical work week is Monday to Friday 7:30am-5:00pm but this may vary throughout the season. This is a seasonal position with options for winter work. Historically our season is from the start of April- the end of November. Health Care Benefits and Bonuses are available. We serve Barrie and the surrounding area.
