Landscape Construction Crew Lead

We are seeking two experienced Landscaping Crew Leads for the 2026 season, with the potential to extend throughout the winter months. The position will be dependent on experience. If you are a more experienced Landscape leader, you will be hired as a Crew Lead and will lead a crew immediately. If you are less experienced as a leader, but with full hardscaping and equipment operating experience, you will be hired as a Landscape Lead Hand and will apprentice under an experienced Crew Lead initially, and develop into a Crew Lead. As a Crew Lead, you will: Lead and direct a team of two crew members to efficiently complete landscape installations. Manage day-to-day client communications and provide daily updates and photos to management. Track materials and time for each project. Our Installations Include: Interlocking paver patios Retaining walls Sod Trees and shrubs Fences Rock/mulch Decks (lumber and composite) Pergolas Water features Landscape lighting Custom sheds Garages (winter) Irrigation Concrete flat work Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must possess: A positive, can-do attitude. The ability to work well with others and independently. Detailed knowledge of the landscape industry. A valid Class 5 or better driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract. The ability to drive a truck and trailer. A clean criminal record. A smartphone with a minimum of 5 GB of data and proficiency in using smartphone apps. At least 4 years of landscape/hardscaping experience (maintenance does not count). 1-2 years of experience as a crew lead in landscape or other construction industries. Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy weights regularly. At least 500 hours of operating experience on a stand-on and loader type skid steer. Excavator experience (an asset). The ability to use a demo saw to cut pavers and wall blocks safely and efficiently.
