Job Description
Dundas Valley Golf & Curling Club is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Golf Course Horticulturalist to lead the care and enhancement of all landscaped and ornamental areas of the property. Working closely with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents, this role plays a key part in elevating the club’s visual presentation and supporting a first-class member experience.
This position is ideal for a horticulture graduate or experienced professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, plant health, and contributing to a high-end golf environment.
Qualifications
Education:
College/Technical Training or Trades Certificate,
Skills & Professional Training
Diploma or degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, or related field (Niagara College graduates strongly encouraged to apply)
- 2–5 years’ experience in horticulture, landscaping, or golf course maintenance preferred
- Strong plant identification and diagnostic skills
- Ontario Pesticide Applicator License (Landscape or Turf) or willingness to obtain
- CLHT designation or progress toward certification considered an asset
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Ontario G-class driver’s license
Compensation
$22 to $30/hour
