Job Description
Site Lead – Landscaping & Hardscaping
Lead the job. Backed by the company.
We at Yorkshire Landscapes are known for high-quality work, strong teamwork, and well-run sites. Our culture is simple: set clear standards, support our people properly, and deliver work we’re proud of.
We don’t expect site leads to carry problems alone. We plan our work properly, support our teams, and back our site leads to do the job right.
Hourly Wage: $32-$37/hr, depending on experience
Work Shift: Mon-Fri, 8:00 am-4:30 pm (summer - 4-day work week)

- Quality is non-negotiable, and you’re supported to achieve it
- Clear expectations, clear communication, no guesswork
- Site leads are trusted and listened to
- Problems are dealt with early
- We look after our own people and expect the same in return
You’ll be joining a company where culture matters as much as the finished job.
The role
As a Site Lead / Working Supervisor, you’ll run landscaping and hardscaping projects day to day, leading your crew on site while remaining hands-on with the work.
You’ll be supported by management with planning, materials, and decision-making, so you can focus on running a clean, organized site and delivering quality work.
Key responsibilities

- Setting out groundworks, levels, and falls accurately
- Delivering patios, driveways, steps, retaining and feature walls

- Overseeing outdoor carpentry works, including fences, pergolas, and raised beds

- Strong technical skills across hardscaping, groundworks, and drainage
- Confident in reading drawings and setting out
- Calm, organized approach to running a site
- High standards and pride in workmanship
- Team-focused leadership style
