Leadership Role: You will support the team leader by guiding and inspiring newer gardening professionals, ensuring that SOPs for maintenance and planting tasks are completed to the highest standards. What We’re Looking For Experience: 2+ years of professional gardening or landscaping experience, with some leadership or training skills in relation to garden and turf maintenance, planting, plant health care, pruning. Leadership Skills: Time management and communication abilities in a gardening/ maintenance role, ensuring high-quality work. Equipment Proficiency: Comfortable and experienced in using landscaping equipment, such as mowers, line trimmers, blowers, and other garden tools. Horticultural Knowledge: Advanced understanding of plant ID. & plant care, and landscape maintenance practices. Physical Stamina: Proven ability to work in all weather conditions, handle physically demanding tasks, and endure longer seasonal hours. Work Ethic: A strong commitment to quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction, with a track record of delivering excellent results. Driver’s License: A clean G class driver’s license is an asset (driver’s abstract required). Responsibilities Lead garden and turf maintenance tasks such as cutting, blowing, pruning, and plant health care. Work on advanced tasks such as seasonal container maintenance/planting, annual display installation, and perennial and shrub planting. Adhere strictly to our high standards for gardening quality, ensuring every task reflects the attention to detail that defines Foliage Outside Matters. Take the lead on following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and commit to ongoing learning to improve your leadership skills. Support crew productivity by being proactive and aware of your surroundings. Maintain a professional attitude on high‑end properties (punctuality, respect, good appearance and clear communication with clients). Eligible drivers will drive crew vehicles safely and ensure compliance with transportation regulations for tools and materials.
