Position Overview – Lawncare Technician We are currently seeking a full-time Lawncare Technician to work in lawn care division. Hours will vary depending on company needs but the ideal candidate must be available to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm. Must have a flexible schedule. Students are welcome to apply for this position, but must be available full time through the Summer months and be over 18 years of age. Position will run from approximately beginning/mid-April until October. Start date is flexible depending on availability. Job Duties  Operating a fertilizer spreader and fertilizing customer's lawns  Operating a power roller and mechanical aerator  Applying grass seed to customers lawns  Applying other lawn care products to customers lawns as needed  Other duties as assigned o Aerate lawns o Lawn Rolling o Spray applications for weeds o Apply fertilizers o Assist with pest control  Make recommendations for lawn maintenance Qualifications  Experience using lawn care equipment (eg. aerator, roller, spreader)  Pesticide certification an asset  'G' Class drivers license and a clean drivers abstract  Ability to lift 40 to 50 lbs.  Customer service experienced preferred
