Horticulturist Lead Hand

Select Landscaping and Construction is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented gardener to help maintain high-end residential landscapes. This hands on role requires the ability to identifying common plant species and applying best practice techniques for pruning, deadheading, stalking, thinning, cultivation and Integrated Pest Management observation. Duties Prune shrubs, perennials, and small trees as required, removing all deadwood and encouraging healthy growth. Execute seasonal planting according to site-specific design and horticultural standards. Follow seasonal maintenance schedules and adapt duties based on plant growth cycles and clients needs. Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to adhere to schedule while maintaining high standard of service. Maintain accurate records for properties, vehicles, equipment, and crew performance.
