ABOUT THIS ROLE As the Vice President of Operations, you’ll be the strategic engine behind the entire AHS machine — driving performance across sales, design, construction, logistics, and client success. You’ll turn vision into systems, goals into outcomes, and talent into results. This role is for a seasoned operator who thrives in chaos, simplifies complexity, and leads with clarity. You won’t just maintain standards — you’ll set new ones. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE ✅ Departmental KPIs are tracked, reported, and consistently hit ✅ Margin and delivery timelines improve across project verticals ✅ Team structure evolves to support growth without bottlenecks ✅ Communication across teams is clear, timely, and actionable ✅ Company culture strengthens even as headcount grows ✅ Forecasts are accurate, decisions are data-driven, and resources are aligned KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee end-to-end operations across all departments: sales, design, project management, warehouse/logistics, and finance Develop and implement SOPs to streamline workflows and scale efficiently Drive operational KPIs and track performance metrics across functions Collaborate with CEO on strategic planning, hiring, and cross-functional alignment Standardize reporting systems and ensure all departments are accountable to outcomes Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and resource gaps — then fix them Forecast budgets, oversee procurement strategies, and optimize job costing Champion company values, lead leadership meetings, and develop rising managers Lead hiring and training efforts for critical operational roles Serve as the connective tissue between vision and execution REQUIREMENTS 7+ years in senior operational leadership (construction, landscaping, or trades preferred) Proven success scaling operations in a growth-stage company Deep understanding of field ops, project scheduling, budgeting, and personnel management Experience with CRMs, ERPs, and reporting platforms (e.g., Monday.com, Buildertrend, QuickBooks) Strategic thinking balanced with tactical discipline Strong leadership and coaching ability — you get results through people High ownership mindset: when something breaks, you fix it Strong financial acumen and data-driven decision-making Comfortable in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment COMPENSATION & BENEFITS 💼 Salary: $100K–$180K (Based on Experience) 📈 Bonus: KPI-Based Performance Bonuses 💰 Equity: Potential long-term incentive or profit-share for top performers 🦷 Health & Dental Coverage 🎯 Leadership Development, Events, and Team Retreats THIS ISN’T CORPORATE — IT’S BUILT DIFFERENT At AHS, we don't do slow, bloated, or average.
